Introduction

The Dreaming Nemleria archetype wants to clear out its extra deck face down, then summon Dreaming Nemleria to wipe the opponent's board and GY, then finally finish the game with your beat sticks. Think of the deck as sleeping on 15 layers of pillows, you need to remove the pillows to wake up Nemleria! While by no means a competitively viable deck, it is fun to whip it out during a casual game. Today, I will guide you on how to win with the deck, and how to be a master at RELEASING THE BEAST!!!

The deck debuted in the Indomitable Pride selection pack.

Core:

Core Cards:

Dreaming Nemleria - 3x

The goal is to get her face up in the extra deck and to NOT banish her face down. You achieve this most of the time with her pendulum effect. Once you can summon her and use her board wipe, you can recover your extra deck monsters to go into Linkuriboh and return her to the extra deck, and Rank 10s, such as Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max. This is also why you do not want to play clutter in the extra deck since Nemleria returning cards is crucial in the deck. She also has a restriction that prevents you from summoning her the same turn you put her in the extra deck with her effect, though putting her in the extra deck with other card effects can bypass this restriction.

Sweet Dreams, Nemleria - 3x

The card is a generic searcher that will search for any Nemleria monster. If you already have Nemleria face-up in the extra deck, Sweet Dreams allows you to resolve any of your Nemleria monster effects without the worry of a response from your opponent. NO MATTER THE SITUATION, try to use Sweet Dreams after Nemleria is in the extra deck, if you can achieve the state without using the spell itself. You can also return Dreaming Nemleria to the extra with the GY effect once Nemleria is summoned if you do not want or can not link summon Linkuriboh. As for what to search, search for Dreaming Nemleria or, if you already have her, a level 10 (My personal option is Reveil so you can pitch it later).

Dream Tower of Princess Nemleria - 2-3x

Running 2 of this card is pretty standard. You can play 3, but do not run 1. We run 2 for the search by Dreaming Nemleria. If one is in the hand, thankfully, the other can be searched from deck. The card is huge since it works towards the goal of clearing the extra deck and searches 2 level 10s from the deck. Most of the time, you will search Reveil and Couette. It also protects your Nemleria monsters from destruction by battle or card effects.

Nemleria Dream Devourer - Reveil - 3x

Reveil's job is to thin out the extra deck. It banishes 3 cards from the extra deck and can be summoned from the GY once it is destroyed or detached as XYZ material. It is well advised to go into this card ASAP. Reveil can also search for a trap, at the cost of discarding a level 10 beast (can not pitch Realized). You should aim to pitch Reveil off this effect. It is important to have one in the hand/field, and one in the GY for recycling.

Nemleria Dream Defender - Couette 1-2x

Couette's job is to negate cards that any Nemleria card (but ONLY when Dreaming Nemleria is in your ED). While not the best negate or an omni negate, it is very important to protect the continuous spell for future use.

Nemleria Dream Defender - Oreiller 1-2x

Oreiller's (or call him Oreo) is to thin the extra deck while being a beat stick. Oreo is easily the worst Nemleria monster but can be critical for getting the last extra deck card banished, and can beat over a plethora of monsters.

Dreaming Reality of Nemleria, Realized 0-1x

One of Realized's goals is to add Dreaming Nemleria to the extra deck, bypassing her turn 1 summon restriction. The Book of Moon effect is also useful. (By the way, remember that realized is a fairy for literally no reason.)

Nemleria Repeter 1-2x

The traps are situational, and you will use both at one point or another. Repeter's Dark Ruler No More like effect can give you a massive advantage, and its recycle effect is good to retrieve Couette or Oreos after Reviel's discard, .

Nemleria Louve 0-1x

You can use this card over Repeter if don't have the extra deck or beast monsters to support Repeter's negate. Louve can special summon a Nemleria monster. Typically this will be Realized to either put Nemleria in the ED or to use as a book of moon.

Pot of Extravagance and Pot of Prosperity 1x

Both extra deck banishing pots are auto-includes for Nemleria decks, giving you draw power as well as helping to empty your extra deck. Play as many copies as you can. (Pot of Extravagance going to 3 trust me :mdcopium:)

Dimension Shifter 0-2x

(Written by

)

Dimension shifter, a notoriously powerful handtrap is a good card in this deck, barring any variants that use graveyard dependent side engines, as the deck does not rely too much on the graveyard. While it may turn off your ability to use Reveil's second effect, it hits the majority of decks pretty hard and protects you from most monster-based hand traps putting you ahead in advantage and board control. (If you want to argue if D. Shifter is good in nemleria, go to the comments).

Extra Deck

The extra does not matter all too much and you probably won't be summoning anything from it until turn 3 or later. However, you should still run the extra deck on the off chance it comes in handy. Also, some Nemleria decks can choose to run a 12-card extra deck to try to turbo out Dreaming Nemleria easier, but it's not required.

Gravity Controller

This card is used to retrieve Dreaming Nemleria to the Extra Deck for later turns. This card can be replaced by other cards. Such cards are:

Run 2 copies of whichever card you choose.

Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max

The card uses the level 10 beasts you summoned earlier to get 2000 burn damage. Since the deck is mostly beat sticks anyway, chipping 2000 damage can help a bit. I recommend you run 2 copies.

Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe

Once you are done with your rank 10s, rank up into Liebe. This card is the ultimate beat stick and can finish games easily with a naked board. Even if you do not finish the game on that turn, the opponent will be weak enough for you to win later. You will only need 1 copy.

Skypalace Gangaridai

Skypalace does the same job as Gustav Max. It burns for 1000, but it lets you pop a card. You would immediately rank up into Liebe. Play 1 copy of the card.

Number 81: Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Super Dora

Having a card to protect your Dreaming Nemleria and other monsters for future turns is significant. The situation with the card is rare, however. Run 1 copy.

Number 84: Pain Gainer

A great alternative for Liebe if you're short on UR. Even if you have the card, still run this. The card is a great burn card that can wipe the board easily. Run 1 copy.

Number 35: Ravenous Tarantula

The sister of Pain Gainer is the polar opposite of the Rank 11. It destroys cards with lower ATK instead of defense and burns each time a monster effect is activated. Run 1 copy.

Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder

An obvious choice in any deck that has XYZ monsters. Zeus can take an already advantageous board, and turn it into an imminent win.

Number 77: The Seven Sins

You would rank into this card with either Pain Gainer or Ravenous Tarantula. The card is a great board tool and a sufficient beat stick while being niche.

Quick note: You should run multiple copies of cards you want to use in the ED if you use Pot of Extravagance.

To fill up the extra deck, you can run these cards. The rest of the extra deck is up to the builder.

Tech Cards

These cards can be thrown in if you need to fill up the deck. They don't fit into every build but can enhance aspects of the deck to your advantage.

Pot of Desires 1x

The card when paired with Eater of Millions and Gren Maju Da Eiza, can give boosts to both monsters and can give Dreaming Nemleria more banishes on summon. Also, you can draw 2. This card can lose Dreaming Nemleria for the entire duel, so it's a high-risk high-reward card.

Gren Maju De Eiza 1-3x

The card is a great beat stick that works perfectly with the deck and Eater of Millions. With the cards you banish face down, Gren Maju can be boosted to 5000 ATK and beat over most monsters you will encounter. To note, Gren Maju is only used in Blind Second Decks.

Lava Golem 1-3x

Lava Golem is great removal that does not go against the deck. You do not need to settle for Kaijus when you can use a monster that tributes 2 monsters and use the burn damage in the Standby Phase. This card is used in Side Decks and Blind Second Decks.

Pendulum Treasure 2-3x

Pendulum Treasure allows you to easily add Dreaming Nemleria to the extra deck while bypassing its turn 1 summon restriction. The card is especially powerful with Triple Tactics Thrust. The card is a brick, however, if you already have Dreaming Nemleria access. The card is used in Turn 2 Decks.

Eater of Millions 3x

The card can clear the entire Extra Deck with one card and get rid of bricks in your hand. The card also can clear one monster from your opponents during the Battle Phase.

Zaborg the Mega Monarch 1x

Usually, the level 10 beasts are sitting on the board doing nothing. If you can not XYZ summon, it is a fair option to go into Zaborg. Most Nemleria monsters are light monsters, so you will get its full effect to dump the extra deck. With cards like Garura, Wings of Resonant Life or Elder Entity N'tss it gives you tons of advantages as well.

Super Polymerization 2x

The card is especially useful in Dogmatika Nemleria. The three main targets are, as expected, Garura, Wings of Resonant Life, Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, and Mudragon of the Swamp! It gets even better knowing that Reviel is a free discard for cost, and the Nemleria monsters are light and dark, two of the most dominant and common attributes in the game.

The Calculator 2x

The card, simply put, is Gren Maju on steroids. With the high-level beasts on the field, the calculator's ATK boosts around to 9000! The card will be used in addition to small world.

Small world:

Starter / Bridge

Endgoal:

Small world is useful for having more consistent Dreaming Nemleria access, or for searching for other engines or tech cards. The most common bridges are the PSY-frames as they can bridge almost any card in the deck to Dreaming Nemleria. Fairy Tail - Luna is specifically useful for bridging to either Dreaming Nemleria or Water Enchantress for the adventure engine.

Unpopular Tech Options

Gizmek Orochi, the Serpentron Sky Slasher 1-2x

This card has a high maintenance cost but can give a decent advantage. The card can pop while thinning out the extra deck. Also, when paired with Eater of Millions, it can give the monster a large boost. Too much cost for the reward, however.

Banquet of Millions 1-2x

This card is a niche disruption that only works half of the time. Banquet will most likely do little in the duel, and your opponent get's the extra deck back at the end, so they can still win. Also, many deck do not need their extra deck for at least one turn. Overall, Eater of Millions is millions of times better than the lousy trap (no pun intended).

Mound of the Bound Creator and Earthbound Immortal Cusillu 1x

Such a silly tech option. You use the field spell to give added effects to your level 10s. Also could go well with The Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode. Cusillu is a level 10 beast, which means it is searchable with Dream Tower and can eventually be summoned. But, just do not run earthbounds, all of them are piles of trash.

Engines

Adventure Engine

Without the use of a Normal Summon (Which Dreaming Nemleria does not need) you can get an Omni negate and a bounce. You would activate Rite of Aremiser to get the token, then use Fateful Adventure to search and summon the Omni Negate. Illegal Knight is uncommon and NOT NEEDED, but can be a good removal tool.

Condemned Witch Engine

With your Normal Summon, you can summon Condemned Witch to add Forbidden Droplet. This gives you a negate that gets rid of bricks, and can floodgate with the barrier statue.

Diviner Engine

The package has you normal summon Diviner and sending either Eva or N'tss. Eva searches for Dreaming Nemleria while N'tss is a free pop. It's as simple as an engine can get. Also, you could technically run this:

This was recommended by

, but it is REALLY SILLY. This technically gives you a negate from targeting cards (but it is not the most useful since Couette does this anyway lmao).

Dogmatika Engine

Full Package:

Mini Package:

Run with the cards above either:

or

(Explained by

) Nadir Servant is a search card that can send Garura to draw 1 card. It can also send Titaninklad to search for Fleurdelis. You will search Ecclesia. Eclessia searches for Punishment, Fleurdelis, or Maximus. Punishment pops 2 cards with sending N'tss to the GY. Fleurdelis can give you a negate, and will usable be searched if you already have Punishment. Maximus is summoned by what you sent with Nadir Servant. You can use the remaining extra deck space to add the Fusion Monsters.

(SIDE NOTE: Dogmatika Punishment locks you out of the extra deck ON YOUR TURN if you use it during the opponent's turn. This means you can not summon Dreaming Nemleria if you use Punishment.

Diabellstar Engine

(NOTE: You can play 1-3x Diabellstar)

The engine is pretty self-explanatory. Diabellstar sends a card (usually Reveil for a "free" cost) to summon itself. You can search Diabell with WANTED. Diabellstar either searches Silvera for two negates, Rciela for a pop similar to Slifer the Sky Dragon, or Subversion for removal (on your turn since it is a normal spell). Diabellstar is similar to Eclessia in which you have many options to search for.

Floodgates

If you are the type of person who likes floodgates, these cards are perfect for you to play.

  • Barrier Statue works because we mostly use light attributed monsters in the main deck. This also applies to Gozen Match.
  • Rivalry of Warlords works because we mostly use beasts.
  • Summon Limit works because we do not summon that many times per turn.
  • Majesty's fiend works as a normal floodgate while we finish the opponent off with beat sticks. It is the same story for Skill Drain and Inspector Boarder. (Normal Summon it after you finished your set up.)
  • Vanity's Ruler is a floodgate that does especially well in Ritual Nmeleria, such as Nouvelle Nemleria and Libromancer Nemleria. The card is searched off Cyber Angel Benten.
  • D Fissure, and Macro Cosmos work because Nemleria does not need the Graveyard 50% of the time. Also, it could shut down the opponent, especially in the current format (SHS, Snake Eyes, Branded, and Mathmech need the GY).
  • D Barrier works because we do not need the Extra Deck.
  • Rai-Oh works because it slows down the game to our speed and could shut down our opponent. (Normal Summon it after you finished your set up.)

Would you recomend cards that banish card from the deck/take advantage from banoshed cards like Gizmek Orochi, Eater of Millions, Pot of extravagance and Gren Maju. If so, how many should I include?

Ckistina, Look in the ED + Tech section, I mention all of the those cards in that section.

I did suggest Eater of Millions. Some of the Nemleria discord does not run the card, however, I enjoy the card. I recommend using the card to banish all of the extra decks and get rid of bricks on the hand/field. The card is paired best with Gren Maju. I listed on the Nemleria guide that you should run 3 copies of the card.

Amazing guide! As a returning player I am curious about one scenario that you described with Dreaming Nemleria. What if you have 1 dreaming nemleria in the ED (with no more cards face down) and you special summon her during your main phase 1 to activate her effect of banishing 5 of your opponent's cards. Then, let's assume you already had another dreaming nemleria in your hand, would you be able to place this second dreaming nemleria in the pendulum zone as usual to bring dream tower in your Main Phase 2? I would really appreciate any help with this @ufoencounter14

At the bottom of the pendulum effect for nemleria, it states you can not summon her the same turn as the pendulum effect. Therefore it is not possible. To get a nemleria back in the ED, you can tribute it, use sweet dreams effect, link summon it off, etc.

Well its snake eyes meta so there is no fun. But, we can play snake-eyes and diabellstar, if that interests you. I think the best way to go is to craft either dogmatika or diabellstar nemleria and add some floodgates. The floodgates are basically needed for ranked success. If playing casually, omit the floodgates.

Just watched the Hardleg video on theses and from the looks of the simple decks he was right its an odd OTK deck that doesn't really had a solid build yet.

I was trying the deck with yosenjus, and they worked pretty well!

With the continuos spell u can search any of the mayosenju lvl 10 monsters, so they has great sinergy thogether

I adore the flavor of this archetype. Thank you for making this guide, I had a shoddy skeleton deck set up for when I pull the right cards, but now I'm confident I'll be running Dogmatika or Nouvelle with it. Would you really not recommend the Mound field spell, even for a more pure Nemleria setup, though? It seems like outstanding protection for the beatsticks. I've won many games based solely off of my opponent not being able to out an untargetable monster, I'd kinda wanna run it at 1.

Mound of the Bound Creator is a good card, but don't play earthbounds. They are so awful. You could play mound of the bound with sphere mode or slifer.

I know this is a casual deck but whats the most consistent viable build in your opinion for high end ranked?

Discord Avatar

Nemleria is a 1-card combo deck, so basically you can combine it with anything you want. Kash is particularly good, but beware of Arise-hearth Macro which will banish Nemleria and Kash were gotten consistency ban last week. Train for axis 10 turbo.

Discord Avatar

Personally the pure build with a consistency tech such as Small World is my way to go

Discord Avatar

If you want to climb ranked, then Dogmatika Nemleria is something to consider. With the dumping of the extra deck and one-card combos, you can end on strong endboards to play around what your opponent plays. Here is an example decklist I created and I play on dueling book: https://www.masterduelmeta.com/saved-decks/65a0a61ee0fbca597cba2a71

There is none bruv. This is just a **** around type of deck. If you think you have some spare UR and SR dust to have some fun I would say go for it.

Discord Avatar

It says you can "rank up into Liebe or Pain Gainer" from Gangaridai, but Pain Gainer seems to require the Xyz to be Dark and Gangaridai is a Wind. I also think the bit about Banquet of Millions has some typo, I don't think there's any issue with activating it on your opponent's turn.

Some fun tech not mentioned are Ghost Reaper and Super Polymerization. Since you don't really use your extra deck for much, you can fill the Extra Deck with targets for them. Ghost Reaper comes with lots of caveats though, it's expensive, doesn't hit some decks like Lab and Floo, and even for the decks it could hit, you just can't account for every possible deck. Still funny when it works out.

Discord Avatar
[-]

Let me discuss this one by one:

  1. I did not read Pain Gainer correctly, I just assumed it was a generic rank-up like Zeus. So yes, Gangaridai CAN NOT go into Pain Gainer.

  2. What I meant by the Banquet of Millions section is you want to use Banquet of Millions on your turn, at least that's how I read the card. I do not understand the card, but the Nemleria discord says it's bad. I recommend going to them for the answer. However, no doubt, Eater > Banquet.

  3. I did not mention Ghost Reaper because I don't even have the card crafted XD. For super poly, I use the card in Dogmatika Nemleria and I beyond recommend playing it if you want to.

  4. Play D barrier over Ghost Reaper :pepeshotgun:

1 ↑
Discord Avatar
[-]

That's fair. It's worded pretty vaguely, so maybe you read Banquet as returning your own cards to the Extra Deck in the End Phase? It only returns the opponent's, so I think the best way to use it would be on turn 2 to try to banish key cards from their ED while partially or fully emptying out yours for a Nemleria summon on turn 3. I agree that it's a bad card though. It doesn't do anything going second, you might get unlucky and only hit non-essential cards (unless you go all in on Banquet and don't banish from ED for any other effect, which probably isn't good especially when they could be on Lab/Floo/Stun etc.), and you want cards in your ED to activate your card effects like Repeter on their turn... Yeah, it's bad.

I might try Dogmatika later, currently I'm at 0 UR and 0 Fleurdelis.

For now, I'll continue to believe in Ghost Reaper.
