February 2025 App Update: New Features!

February 5th Update

Happy pre-Anniversary! KONAMI has released v2.2.0 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel - and it's a reasonably sized update, clocking in at ~150mb on Mobile and 300mb on PC.

There's a bunch of new features, and a few small hints as to upcoming content so here's the quick recap (more information available in-game patch notes)

3rd Anniversary

The new App Icon and Splash Art confirms that Loading... Alternative Artwork will be available during the Anniversary period!

New Features

New User Interface for Solo Mode
Deck Editing Filters have been improved (Can now visibly filter by Link Arrows)
You can now follow a player after finishing a Duel
You can now set a MATE on a PER DECK level, as opposed to just in your profile
Up to 5 Wallpapers can now be set for your Homes Sreen, which will display at random.

Upcoming Events?

The following Event types have been added to Master Duels game data with new text data. Some of these are re-runs, and so take this with caution as it does not 100% confirm these will be returning soon.

Duel Trial: Time Travel 2004 - Event where you battle with cards released in the OCG until November 25, 2004. In this event, the player going first can draw a card during their Draw Phase.
80 Million Download Campaign
