Notes & Combos
With new Memento comes new combos... and more critical thinking. Immediately, if you're going to play this deck, you better get used to knowing your lines and where to convert, if interrupted otherwise you're fighting with the timer, so please keep practicing until you've have gotten a decent grip on what the deck does.
Anyways, the format is feeling rough, so I decided to play these cards since the decks I was facing was giving me a bit of a tough time and I wanted to go all in or fail trying. DRNM, Droplet, and Sales Ban have been neat cards in helping to break boards. HFD and Red Reboot (especially THIS card) has also become one of the MVP whether it's preventing Imperm, Dominus traps or any other powerful traps from being used against you, Red Reboot has honestly been crucial when aiming to make a board or winning the game. Final Bringer is "IFFY". Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not enough, so this can be cut. I decided to use Fracture Dance this format because it's another good disruption that can be enough to stop the opponent and in case if I were to bring out Creation King and Maxx "C" was used against me, at least I can basically have two disruptions and maybe more depending on my setup.
I'm fine with this ED as just about every card has served it's purpose though I can't say Mysterion did much for me during my climb, so it could probably be swapped for anything else. Avramax is in case of Tenpai. I've made Elf and Gryphon (with I:P protection) more often than not as an endboard with Combined Creation and potentially all 3 of the Memento S/Ts set. It's something that has hardly been torn down since a lot of monsters do have to have Link monsters pointing on the monster that's special summoned in order to activate, so they usually have to try to beat over it in order to do much, but by that time Fracture will either pop them, I:P could be brought back by Elf to make S:P, steal the monster with Mace or make Creation King. There's just SO many ways to protect your board.
Overall, even though the timer became my enemy, I've had tons of fun with this deck, discovering more things with the new support and the possibilities in what you can make feels endless, not feeling like a linear combo deck. That's why it's one of my favorite decks of all time.
Welp, that's about it. If anyone has questions about anything about the deck or the cards being used, feel free to ask.
