Notes & Combos

Back to back seasons making m1 with this deck, couldve done it way earlier in the season but got bored of the meta and decided to take a break after getting to m5. Rikka is extremely powerful and i still feel i need one more season to be where i want to be skill wise with the deck

Ran rosewhip and bouncer at beggening of season than decided to drop them, wanted to climb without floodgating my opponents. Didnt miss bouncer at all but Rosewhip was def missed. This deck struggles with multiple handtraps and back row. With that being said, red reboot was again one of the mvp cards of the season, its so good in this deck idk why anyone wouldnt play it. If you are running Rosewhip its utility becomes even better. Example, turn 1 your opponent imperms dryas, respond with red reboot, go on to full combo with benghalancer, teardrop, hyperyton, regulus, rosewhip, princess in grave. Whatever spell/trap your opponent activates next turn you negate with regulus now opponent is reliant on only monster effects.

The most challenging part of learning this deck is learning how to pivot through multiple handtraps and breaking boards going second. Maxx c is obvi an issue, if you can just go into the rikka engine under maxx C, try not to give your opponent more than 1 draw. Mudan with konkon and sheet set won me more games than you would think. If your new to the deck sometimes you will have to be reliant on just the rikka engine, get comfortable with playing midrange- strenna, konkon, princess & petal in grave & sheet set is still very very powerful. Lastly, be careful of nib. Everyones running nib, if you can always set up an early princess or regulus negate before your 5th summon

I save replays from my climb every season & i have a couple from last, check them out
