Notes & Combos
I have already wrote many details about this list when I reached master 5 (top-decks/master-v/february-2025/drytron/raikkern/ZjXvc).
Here are the changes:
- 0x Foolish Did run some calculations, and observed that this card does not behave well with Deception. This happens because in this list you run a lower counter of names. If you have Foolish and Deception in hand, you need specifically 2 more names to combo while protected from Silvia. If you do not have deception but you have foolish you need 1 more name. Opening deception is 29%. At least 2 names is 51%, where 1 is 86%. An upper bound on the result is 0.29*0.51+(1-0.29)*0.86 = 0.75. Therefore Foolish in hand is a dead card at least 25% of the times.
- 0x Vanity Opening with this card in hand is always bad. Especially going second. Against maxx c you are far better of going for fucho. Your many cards in hand + the 2 names in the gy are enough to push on turn 3.
- 1x Guiding Light This card is worth its weight in gold. Alternatively you can use Eva. This makes you combo with 1 name and Benten, effectively making Benten a name. Turn 3/4 can be used to revive Nu2 and start the recursion.
- 1x Purulia Meta dependant, can be cut. Many White Forest, Snake Eyes, Kashtiras. --- I have faced many stun players going second. Too many to count. Like 10 players in Master 2 alone. Facing skill drain/Erupt/synchro zone makes me want to vomit. I have seriously considered Accesscode Talker. He can banish itself to deal with those floodgates. He also is an incredible tool to break boards. To make sense playing him, I need a Link3 preferably not DARK. Ningirsu comes to mind, you have the ritual spell to waste. He can also out backrow. This can be a serious package to break boards. Ning send, + 2x Access pop + 5300 ATK.
The problem lies that almost nothing in the extra can be cut:
- Each card in the Diviner package is amazing.
- All the xyz are mandatory.
- Linkuriboh and S:P are mandatory.
- Goddess deals with Chaos Angel and has behaved well.
The only available choice is I:P and Dyna Mondo. Losing both makes Ningirsu hard to make, as you need to "waste" S:P.
Maybe Powercode Talker instead of Ningirsu? Maybe Goddess can be cut and I should count on droplet for chaos angel?
I am currently thinking on -Goddess, -Dyna, +Access, +Ningirsu
Some more testing is required.

Replays
I recently started changing combo lines, making dragster before mu beta to insulate vs imperm. This combo dies to nibiru. Pick your poison.
I lose many games going second to time. Games I could have won if I could finish my line.

I do only save games going second as the one going 1st are always the same.

I'd like to suggest running meteor shower. if you open nova, field spell, or ursatron together instead of them being a brick they end up insolating an endboard or even giving you more of an endboard if you get hand trapped to where you cant get DAD you can ritual benten and still have the trap active.
