Notes & Combos

Since the Master V deck, this deck made some slight changes by adding in Magister and make the controversial move of playing Endymion at 2 lol. In the meantime, due to lacking going second ability,ntss was added due to trauma of acid golem of destruction FTK.

This deck focuses on maximizing the chances of getting to Secret Village by:

1.Getting more draw spells

I’ve added Extra Foolish Burial, with the graveyard target being Infernoid Evil to draw Into the Void. This setup guarantees two spell counters, increasing consistency in accessing Secret Village.

2.Using Abductor and cut out Garuda

Since most hands resolve with Into the Void, it’s hard to keep Garuda in hand. Running Abductor instead offers a way to search for Majesty Pegasus, which can find Secret Village without needing Beyond the Pendulum after Electrumite. However, removing Garuda reduces the deck's ability to go second. For climbing the ranked ladder, I've had about a 60% rate going first, so I decided to focus on solidifying the first-turn setup.

3.Not using Pot of Desires

Pot of Desires can sometimes banish key cards needed for the Secret Village setup, like Majesty Pegasus and Vaylantz Field Spell to get two body on the field which often causing more harm than good. I frequently found myself holding Pot of Desires until I had a setup for Secret Village, which reduced consistency.

4.Including Exceed the Pendulum

Although Promethean Princess can typically fix the scale, Exceed adds flexibility. Going Exceed => Beyond => Promethean results in a stronger board, in my opinion, and Exceed can summon Pendulum monsters milled by Magician’s Soul. It also helps search Majesty Pegasus more efficiently, especially under Maxx “C”.
