Notes & Combos
Finally hit Master V with Centurion :)
Standard bystial variant with some nuances:
- Ghost Ogre x3 because it destroys Blue Eyes, if you're able to get a well-timed destruction on True Light its over
- Super Poly x2 because this deck really struggles going second, cannot tell you how amazing it is to have super poly in your hand when they end on Baronne and Apollo as their main negates, i never regretted slotting this in and our ED is flexible enough to where we can spare some slots for fusion targets
- Primus x2 because being able to summon it again on turn 3 for another Emblema Oath comes in very handy, doesn't come up much so this is cuttable i think
- ED overall is super flexible which is why i love Centurion so much, Doomed Dragon is very good non-destruction removal
- Not running many links like Almiraj or Artemis so getting Primera negated with no follow-up to get her into GY to summon a Bystial can hurt sometimes, but having those spots for super poly targets matters more to me
- Supernova is a mainstay and destroys decks like VV and Blue Eyes that rely on field spells and continuous S/T, just remember to summon it in defense position on the opp's turn if possible so it doesn't get TTT'd and ends up killing you (this happened once, I learned my lesson)
