Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

The only way to exploit the full potential of this archetype is to opt for a control/stun-oriented build. The main purpose of Aquaactress cards is to lay down continuous spells to protect and increase your monsters' stats. Counter-traps and floodgates are then perfect for reinforcing this game plan, allowing you to keep control of the game.

This deck is TERRIBLE, and you will most likely lose when going second, but you make opponents surrender to funny looking fish :D

Main Deck Monsters & Combos

Every main deck monster is Water/Aqua to play under Gozen Match and Rivalry of Warlords :

  • Aquaactress Tetra gives you access to your continuous spells. The one you want to search first is Aquarium Stage; it provides monster effect protection for Aquaactress monsters and battle protection for any WATER type monster. Aquarium Lighting is an ATK booster, giving you access to a 4000 ATK Arowana during battle phase.

  • Metal Reflect Slime is a free Egyptian God Slime (3000 ATK body protecting your other monsters from battle and targeting effects)

  • Paleozoic cards synergize nicely with Aquaactress monsters under Wetlands. I didn't keep it here since I already play the Slime package.

  • Aquaactress Guppy + Aquaactress Tetra :

    Guppy summons Tetra, Tetra searches for a 1st continuous spell, Marincess Coral Anemone summons Tetra back for a 2nd continuous spell search.

  • Aquaactress Guppy + Aquaactress Arowana :

    Guppy summons Arowana, Arowana searches for Tetra, Marincess Coral Anemone summons Tetra for a continuous spell search.

Funny Traps

Winning because your opponent can't pass a 300 DEF fish is peak gaming. You can pretty much play all of the well-known floodgates except There Can Be Only One, Anti-Spell Fragrance, and Grave of the Super Ancient Organism.

Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror is an auto win against Yubel.

Extra Deck

The only important cards here are Marincess Coral Anemone, Egyptian God Slime, S:P, and Knightmare Phoenix. Mistar Boy could be useful in some specific situations and Marincess Marbled Rock is the only link-3 monster you can summon with Anemone on the field.

Other Variants

  • Ties of the Brethren (master pack UR) summons Tetra and Testudo erat Numen directly from the deck.
  • I tried a Horus variant (Ice Barrier searches Arowana, Rainbow Bridge of Salvation searches Wetlands...) but it didn't work that well and Aquaactress monsters were basically useless.
  • An IceJade variant probably does some things, feel free to check the Aquaactress channel (in "any-other-deck")
